Dreaming of hosting a small gathering? You must serve these darling mini individual charcuteries boards for an impressive, personalized party snack!
Hello hello friends! How are you holding up? I made these darling snack boards last weekend after a beautiful morning of sightseeing at the baths of Antonius. The baths are also the only remaining Thermae of Carthage that dates back to the Roman Empire. They were a beautiful place for our kids to play and learn. The hot summer heat, rich history lesson, and breathtaking views made me hungry for something a little more fancy than a typical snack.
I decided to put together some mini charcuterie boards, with our favorite cheese, meats, and seasonal fruits. In the summer, cherries, grapes, pears, and figs are abundant in our local market. They felt so right for charcuterie. All of these fruits pair so well with my favorite – a soft goat cheese. We also had my husband’s favorite smoked provolone, which was added to his.
I know this is a sensitive time for many around the world who are still practicing social distancing. If the hostess in you wants to whip something fancy for just you and your family, make this mini charcuterie with what you have on hand. They are so simple and lovely. I know that I will be serving these on our next gathering, whenever the time feels right.
Hosting a large gathering instead?
Many of us are in parts of the world where we have resumed normal living and are no longer practicing social distancing. If that’s the case for you, you can use these ingredients for a large charcuterie. I have added some of my rose-infused honey on this board!
